Science is now discovering that a daily 10 minute practice of meditation causes positive changes to key structures of the brain engaged in decision-making, memory and emotional flexibility. Meditation even protects you from the effects of aging!!
Daily meditation gives you relaxation, improves any stress-related condition (eg. high blood pressure, tension headaches), gives you a better night’s sleep, helps you re-gain your balance and restores peace, clarity, your sense of well-being and your ability to cope with life. Meditation also facilitates the gentle, natural release of emotional issues and helps you develop the skill of mindfulness and the ability to handle strong emotions safely.
If you are interested in spiritual development the practice of meditation is recommended by Spiritual Masters in all traditions as an essential component of the spiritual path.
Gillian will teach you easily learnt meditation techniques and will guide you in setting up and starting your own daily meditation practice. If you already practice meditation but have developed snags then Gillian will help you navigate your way forward.
These sessions are suitable for everyone and particularly recommended if you are unable to join a Group Course, prefer one-to-one sessions or have some special needs.
Each session is an hour at £55 per session and it is recommended that you have a minimum of 3 sessions spread over 4 weeks at a total cost of £165.
